Mercer women's soccer (8-2-1) opened their weekend trip to Maryland with a 2-0 win over Southern Maryland. Sophomore Lyndsey Buckley (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) and freshman Samantha Barlow (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) each scored a goal and sophmore Samantha Hirthler (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington) added an assist in the win. Freshman goalkeeper Kasey Schneider (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) had 8 saves in the shutout win. |
