West Windsor, NJ-Mercer baseball moved to 23-7 following an 8-3 Game 2 win vs Raritan Valley (14-12). Sophomore Jordan Raba (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) went 3 for 4 with a double, home run and 3 RBIs and freshman Josh Hernandez (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs.
Sophomore Anthony Crudo (Point Pleasant Boro, NJ/St. Rose) was 2 for 4 with an RBI and sophomore Geno Bianco (North Wales, PA/Lansdale Catholic) had a double and RBI. Sophomore Lukas Mullen (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North) added an RBI in the win.
Sophomore Shaniel Maldonado (Trenton, NJ/St. Benedict’s) struck out six in seven innings to move to 3-2 on the season.
Mercer has a quick turnaround as they host Monroe University (13-17) in a 12:00 PM doubleheader on Sunday, April 12th.
