West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (13-3) lost Game 2 of their doubleheader vs Del Tech (14-10) 12-11 in eight innings. Sophomore Arianna Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 4 for 5 with four stolen bases, three runs and two RBIs and sophomore Jozalyn Sheipe-Warthen (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) was 3 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs. Sophomore Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown HS) went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and freshman Jamie Kozarski (Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddon Township) was 2 for 4 with an RBI.
Freshmen Karisa Krawiec (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) and Ashlee Haywood (Ewing, NJ/Council Rock North) each had an RBI in the loss.
Mercer next travels to Suffolk County CC (11-7) for a 12:00 PM doubleheader on Saturday, April 11th.
