Pine Hill, NJ-Mercer women’s tennis moved to 5-1 following a 6-3 win at Camden. Sophomore Aida Torrealba (San Felipe, Venezuela/U.E. Colegio) and freshman Fathima Salman Al Faris (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) won 8-0 at 1st Singles and sophomore Sarvin Salehi (Princeton, NJ) and freshman Hilary Gomez Lozano (Willingboro, NJ/Perth Amboy HS) got a 8-2 win at 2nd Doubles.
Sophomore Julia Fillat Ferrer (Barcelona, Spain/Santa Ana Mataro) did not lose a point at 1st Singles, winning 6-0, 6-0. Torrealba won 6-1, 6-1 at 2nd Singles. Salehi did not lose a point at 3rs Singles (6-0, 6-0 win) and Salman Al Faris also did not lose a point in her 6-0, 6-0 win at 4th Singles. Gomez Lozano won 6-3, 6-3 at 5th Singles.
Mercer next hosts a big Region match vs RCSJ Gloucester at 3:30 PM at Mercer County Park on Monday, April 13th.
