Individualized Certificate Programs

For individuals whose background and career goals do not coincide with an established program, the college offers the option to consider an individualized certificate program.

The process begins with a conversation with a college advisor, reviewing the individual's prior education and work experience in relation to a specific and realistic career goal. The advisor and the student then develop a program to achieve this goal through established 精东传媒 courses.

Each individualized certificate program must meet the general academic standards that apply to all established certificate programs, specifically including 18 to 36 college credits and an English composition course beyond the academic foundations level. It must be approved by the appropriate division dean, after consultation with the faculty responsible for the discipline or area, and be recorded by the college registrar.

Students are required to complete ENG 101, English Composition I, and have basic algebra proficiency (or MAT 034).
